CHURCH Projects is an unconventional art space of deliberately small proportions on Church Street, run for experimentation, innovation and exploration rather than sales. The size is the point: a room that small forces artists to make a decision about it, and the work that results is usually specific to the space in a way a white cube does not require. It sits in the middle of the Church Street strip, so it costs nothing to look in on the way between larger galleries — which is roughly how a project space is meant to work.
